TECHNIQUE

  • The poles should have a diagonal position.
  • The foot that steps forward does so at the same time as the opposite hand.
  • Fully support the foot from heel to toe.
  • Keep your shoulders relaxed.
  • Keep your eyes up and your back straight.
  • Do not grip the poles too tightly.
  • When you finish pushing with the baton, open the palm of your hand and lift the baton quickly upwards.
